The Global Lifequid Association, informally known as Lifequid, was founded in the middle of the 21st century. It's real founder is unknown and it is being speculated that he was just one of a very long line of rich businessmen, the last link being the current "head", the first one being a funder of the American Civil War.

As at the end of the 21st century, Lifequid has seized control over many important aspects of the world, such as energy, health and many more.

However, Lifequid shares its sources of income with another big company named Torser International.

Both of them are in an eternal struggle of which only nameless soldiers, workers and victims or the either most powerful or the most endangered people of this world know. The battle is not being fought openly but rather takes place indirectly in front of the background of real wars. As both Torser and Lifequid support militaries of many nations around the globe with materials and most importantly, by private armies, they both actually partake in most of their wars.
Torser and Lifequid always support different sides, so that their weapons are actually used against each other and their armies are actually fighting each other. This conflict isn't known in public and probably won't ever be.
